Food and Nutrition

We care about children’s dietary health, food quality, as well as help each child develop good eating habits. We are participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and strictly follow the guidelines of USDA Nutrition Standards for CACFP Meals and Snacks in preparing meals and snacks for our children.

Nutrition is very important for children, especially when they are growing bodies. Our meals and snacks include a variety of healthy ingredients such as whole grains, fresh fruit, vegetables, 100% beef meat, whole milk, and more. As a participator of CACFP following USDA Nutrition Standards, we guarantee that we will serve our children with whole-grains food, fresh fruit, vegetables, and milk every day to ensure each child can get enough nutrients.

Our teachers will implement “family-style dining” when serving meals to our children. Doing so provides children with opportunities to enhance social skills because it trains them how to serve themselves and promotes independence and confidence.

To protect children from food allergies, we stipulate all centers to be “Egg-Free” and “Peanut-Free”. In addition, we DO NOT allow parents or guardians to bring any unauthorized outside food to our centers.
